What is a buccal massage?
A buccal massage is a specialized facial massage in which we combine manual techniques for the face, jaw and neck. We work specifically on the chewing muscles, the cheeks and the connective tissue. The treatment is pleasant if you hold tension in your jaw, if you clench or grind your teeth, with tension related headaches, with a puffy face, or when you want your jawline to stand out more.

Here are answers to frequently asked questions about the buccal massage.
What is the difference between the Presence, Reveal and Beyond Experience?
The Presence focuses on deep relaxation and releasing tension in the face, jaw and neck. The Reveal combines relaxation with facial sculpting and an intra-oral massage, in which we also treat the muscles on the inside of the mouth. The Beyond Experience is the most extensive treatment and combines deep relaxation, facial sculpting and red LED light therapy. Red LED light supports the skin's natural recovery process and is a lovely addition to the massage.
Does a buccal massage have to be performed intra-orally?
No. The treatment can be performed fully externally. The intra-oral massage is an optional addition, in which we treat the chewing muscles on the inside of the mouth while wearing gloves.
Is a buccal massage painful?
A buccal massage should not be painful. Areas where a lot of tension is held can feel more sensitive. We adjust the intensity accordingly and keep a close eye on how it feels for you during the treatment.
Can a buccal massage improve my jawline?
The treatment does not change the anatomy of your face. As tension and fluid decrease, your natural contours and jawline can become temporarily more visible.
When will I see results from a buccal massage?
The effect is often visible and noticeable straight away. Your face can look more relaxed, feel less puffy and your jawline can be temporarily more defined. How long that lasts differs per person and depends partly on the degree of tension and fluid retention.
How often can I book a buccal massage?
That depends on your wishes and the degree of tension. For relaxation, a single treatment can already feel good. With recurring tension, or when you use the treatment for facial sculpting, we agree on a regular treatment rhythm together.
What does a buccal massage cost?
The Presence takes 50 minutes and costs €88. The Reveal takes 75 minutes and costs €111. The Beyond Experience takes 95 minutes and costs €144, including red LED light therapy. With the Reveal you can add red LED light therapy separately for €25.
